When we visited the UK last fall to scope out towns to live in, we considered Bristol. It’s a coastal college town/city that has a lot of fun stuff going on, but is a tad bit too far of a commute for Omri. We visited it again and barely even scratched the surface of exploring the city!
Paddington is Eran and Amelia’s sweet Cairn Terrier, who we watched while they were out of town. Teddy is normally a solitary pup and is ok with other pups (he was a rescue so he never really trusted other pups until recently) but he really warmed up to Paddington!
Exploring all the villages in the Cotswolds seems to be our usual Sunday outing. This week was Malmesbury, a town about 20 minutes away from our home. This time, we were touring as a foursome with our friend Paddington! This cutie belongs to Eran and Amelia (more on Peeps here) and we were watching him for the week.
We live in an area called the Cotswolds, which is an area in south central England, comprised of rolling hills and cute, quaint towns. We visited a town called Bourton-on-the-Water, which is known as the Venice of the Cotswolds.
We made it to the UK! After months of planning and talking about moving, it finally happened!
Teddy, Omri, and I all arrived to our home in the Cotswolds, United Kingdom, last week. It was quite the journey getting here – we flew from LAX to CDG and then used a driver to take us from Paris to Calais, a northern French city, where we boarded the EuroTunnel to Folkestone, UK, and then drove the rest of the way to our home. In total the trip took about 23 hours, so we were quite happy once we got to the house!
