Looking Back: Fall at Westonbirt Arboretum

Before we get too far along into 2016 (jk, this is my feeble attempt to apologize for being so far behind! Can you believe its already mid-Feb?!?), I’d like to do as the cool kids are saying and am going to “flash back” to a sunnier and warmer time – fall! (Though, I must add, we are getting some great winter sun here this past week! But geez San Diego and LA, can you guys keep your temps under control? Enough bragging already!)

As fall was beginning, we decided to take a trip to Westonbirt Arboretum (before we went this time) and experience the start of fall and the changing colors in all their full glory!

A beautiful sunny day!

Birthday Month Celebrations! (Part 2)

Yay for Birthday Month! 🙂 Sure, we are closer to 30 than 20 (ew!) but we still try and celebrate, this time, with my birthday! I used to love birthdays, mainly when it meant being 21 (Las Vegas anyone? Uncle Kasey? 🙂 ), but since that number has passed a few years ago, I care a little less for them.

However, this year we decided to do something different – we went to London for the day and saw the Book of Mormon! It was a really nice birthday, filled with sunshine, laughter, and good food!

Birthday Month Celebrations! (Part 1)

Can you believe it’s already February? 2016 is already flying by! But before too much time passes and I need to flash wayyy back (some old 2015 posts are coming up in the next few weeks!), here are a few fun outings we did to celebrate our birthday month!

First up, Omri’s birthday! We visited Cotswold Distillery for his birthday (the day after, because we were flying home on the actual date) and had a tour and tasting!

Gotta love the Rover!

Today is the final installment of our snowy Scandinavian trip – and our last stop was Stockholm, Sweden! We rung in the new year in Stockholm and got to see and eat some of the city’s best!

Our Scandinavian Adventure: Copenhagen (Part 1)

Our Scandinavian adventure was quite a whirlwind! We visited 4 cities in 9 days and spent Christmas and New Years in the snow. It was a really great way to end the year on a high note, with really great food, sightseeing, and adventures!

Happy 2016!

Happy New Year! Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful start to 2016! Omri and I returned from a big trip to Scandinavia over the holidays – we visited Denmark, Finland, and rung in the new year in Sweden! This is a quick tease from our trip – there will be full posts next week so stay tuned! For now, enjoy the sparkling winterscapes and know that, yes, we were in fact freeeeeezing!! But it was oh so fun! 🙂

Enchanted Christmas at Westonbirt

Bonus post! Not really, but I wouldn’t leave you for the year with my last post! Not that it was horrible, just a series of unfortunate events. Nonetheless, this is my last post of the year, and also, Happy Christmas! This is our trip to Westonbirt Arboretum, a beautiful Arboretum that we visited earlier in the year (but I haven’t posted on just yet, but I do have this fun pic from that visit!). This is a yearly event, called Enchanted Christmas, where the arboretum is lit up and decked out in festival lights and decor.

8 hours in Torquay

Ah where to begin with this one. Let me just preface this post by reminding our loyal readers that what you see on this blog is not necessarily telling of my every day life. Some fluff pieces sort of are, but travels and special adventures and outings are recorded and most of them have been just as fun and exciting as they come off in the photos (with minor enhancing). This trip, however, was unlike any trip thus far…

Christmas Tree Shopping!

It’s been years since we had a real live Christmas tree. I think the last one Omri bought for me as a surprise, maybe 3 or so years ago? Anyways, I decided that this year we would get one, and early too!
